While working in the banking industry in the 1990’s, Jeff recognized that many financial service companies lacked the ability to accurately measure the effectiveness and profitability of their marketing programs. In 1998, he set out to create a marketing company that would focus not only on the creative aspects of marketing, but also the empirical measurement of marketing program results. Since that time, One to One Direct has implemented many innovative marketing programs AND set up the infrastructure to measure their impact – allowing clients to more effectively allocate marketing dollars.
Jeff has worked with some of the most recognizable names in the financial services industry, designing and implementing analytically-driven marketing programs for national and regional clients . He has worked with clients on a wide range of issues, including development of comprehensive direct marketing strategies and implementation plans, response rate optimization, and profitability analysis. Using the same methodologies that have created outstanding results in financial services, he is now expanding his business to other industries. Jeff has his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Richmond.
Rick Simpson oversees the print production and mail shop functions of our business, and brings over 25 years of direct marketing experience to the One to One Direct team. Rick was on the forefront of database marketing in the early 1980’s, and has helped well-known companies such as Life of Virginia and Century 21 Real Estate establish database marketing programs.
